Ultrasound technician salary in Virginia is believed to be different depending on the location of employment within the state. The salary range which an ultrasound sonographer can expect will be starting from $61,762 to $92,019 per year. This fluctuates with time of employment, years of experience and the location of employment. The US average ultrasound yearly income is $74,875.

The highest paid ultrasound technicians are working in the areas of Fairfax and Fredericksburg and Reston with an average yearly income of $92,019. Following these regions is the area of Staunton, which can guarantee a yearly income of $78,979. In Elkton, Hampton Roads and Harrisonburg, ultrasound technicians are given $77,359 per year. The salary in Hampton, New port news, Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Williamsburg is $77,127 per year. In Petersburg, ultrasound technicians are given $76, 068 per year while in Winchester, they are guaranteed to earn an average income of $73,180. In Roanoke, diagnostic medical sonographers cam have an average annual income of $70,657. In Charlottesville, the annual average salary is $71,522 while the regions of Lynchburg and New Kent are offering yearly average salary of $61,762.
