In Rockford, ultrasound technicians can earn $67,713 while in Moline and Rock Island, the average compensation is $65,678. In Springfield, ultrasound technicians are given compensation average of $64,696 while in Pekin and Peoria sonographers receive $63,169 per year.

Ultrasound tech salary in Illinois can be affected by factors such as years of experience and location of employment. For example, in Gurnee and Lake Forest, sonographers earn more than those in the regions of Pekin and Peoria.
