The accreditation of training institutions such as community colleges, schools and universities to offer sonography degree programs is important because the accreditation from Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs will serve as ticket to secure a brighter future for the ultrasound technicians. If the college offers accredited programs, it means that the standard of education as imposed by the rules of CAAHEP will be strictly implemented. If you are planning to study in a regular school or from one of online ultrasound schools, be sure that the school offer your choice of degree.
