The program is concentrated in invasive cardiovascular, vascular ultrasound, general and cardiac technology. There are five-day classes each week with eight hours full-time base. Training in clinical work will be accomplished in Thomas Jefferson Hospital.

Community College of Allegheny County at Boyce

Community College of Allegheny County at Boyce is considered a public institution and is offering one-year diploma programs and associate degree programs in ultrasound sonography. The focus areas of the students, which have a population of over 18,000 students, are concentrated on various areas like cardiac, general or vascular sonography. The prerequisites of the students before enrolling are the completion of courses in medical terminology and biology.


Northampton Community College

Northampton Community College, a public school, is located in Bethlehem. Student population is about 36,000 students. The available ultrasound technology courses can be completed in either 18 month certified course or in 2-year Associate degree in applied science.
