The salary range of an ultrasound technician salary can fluctuate in time depending on factors which can make the salary lower or higher. Since location of employment can affect the salary ranges, there are states where ultrasound income is higher than the US national average income for an ultrasound sonographer. The other states such as Ohio, Indiana, New Jersey, Louisiana, Maryland, Virginia, Oregon and Minnesota offer ultrasound technician salaries which range from $15,000 to $60,000 depending on many factors such as level of experience. The salary figures are just the average salary range for all the sonographers employed in a specific location. It does not mean that all ultrasound technician salaries are the same for every sonographer employed in the same specific location.
